Lit Lit...Light Light...sol...stice...this drawing reminds me of a NIN shirt I used to have in middle school. I remember realizing that my father used actual nine inch nails to hold together the retaining wall underneath the porch behind our house, the porch under which my brothers and I used to make napalm and WD-40 flame throwers. I have always been drawn to fire's ability to take something and turn it into nothing. Sometimes the creative process feels like fire in reverse.
